Buddy

Meet Buddy, a senior Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love! Buddy may be a little shy when you first meet him and needs some time to decompress, but once he feels safe and comfortable, his sweet and gentle nature truly shines through. He's house-trained and crate-trained, and his crate is actually his happy place – he feels secure there, even with the door open!

Ideal Home

Buddy would thrive in a quiet, low-energy home with a patient adopter who understands he needs time to adjust. He loves other dogs and would likely do well with children, though he hasn't had exposure to them. We're unsure how he'd do with cats.

Buddy is a senior dog who is ready to enjoy his golden years.

Training & Support

Buddy walks well on a leash. He enjoys soft and squishy toys and the simple comforts of companionship. With patience and understanding, Buddy has so much love and potential to share.
