Some dogs arrive and immediately steal your heart. This handsome Anatolian Shepherd puppy is approximately 4 1/2 months old and already weighs an impressive 48 pounds. Picked up as a stray while lying on a sidewalk in front of a store, Goofy was brought to ACCT Philly and later transferred to our rescue. While we may never know how such an incredible puppy ended up on his own, we're determined to make sure his next chapter is everything he deserves.
True to his name, Goofy is equal parts lovable giant, playful puppy, and adorable goofball. He's social, affectionate, incredibly smart, and always ready for fun. Whether he's making new friends, exploring the world around him, or finding creative ways to entertain himself, Goofy approaches life with enthusiasm and curiosity. He's very much a typical giant-breed puppy - big paws, big personality, and an even bigger future ahead of him.
Ideal Home
As an Anatolian Shepherd, Goofy comes from a breed developed to think independently and protect livestock. These intelligent guardian dogs grow into loyal, devoted companions, but they require owners who understand their unique traits and needs. For that reason, we're looking for a home with experience handling Anatolian Shepherds, livestock guardian breeds, or similar working dogs. An ideal home might even be a farm or rural property where Goofy could be given appropriate training and opportunities to put his natural instincts to good use.

Goofy will come neutered, with age appropriate vaccines, and microchipped.
