Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, spayed female Pointer/Australian Cattle dog mix, weighing about 35 pounds. She's a bundle of joy with an affectionate, playful, and sweet personality. Daisy was adopted from a shelter but sadly returned, finding herself on a euthanasia list before our rescue stepped in to give her a much-deserved second chance. She loves to play zoomies, cuddle, and is a happy-go-lucky pup who will undoubtedly brighten your days.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home that can provide daily walks, playtime with another dog, or a securely fenced yard where she can safely burn off energy. She enjoys keeping an eye on her surroundings and doing a little yard patrol. She also makes a fantastic work-from-home companion, happily snoozing nearby while you work. Ideally, Daisy would love another friendly dog for companionship, though this is strongly preferred, not a dealbreaker. She would do best with children 10 years or older who understand how to respect a shy dog. A calm home with a predictable routine is preferred over a busy household with lots of visitors, as she can be shy when meeting new people, especially men.
Ongoing Health
Daisy Sue is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. No specific health conditions are mentioned in her description.
Training & Support
Daisy is a smart and well-mannered pup! She is fully house-trained with zero accidents, walks beautifully on a leash without reacting to dogs, runners, or people, and is crate-trained, sleeping soundly in her crate at night. She has no issues with resource guarding and politely shares toys and treats. Her food-motivated nature makes training even easier and more enjoyable. While she can be shy initially, with patience and gentle encouragement, she warms up to reveal her affectionate, cuddly side.
