Paloma is a stunning, bright white cloud of a dog, who might start off a little reserved but blossoms into a loyal, velcro companion once she decides you're her person. She's a world-class cuddle bug who loves to be by your side, whether you're working, relaxing on the couch, or napping. She's known for her heartwarming "happy jumps" when she sees her favorite people, a truly joyful sight! We believe she's a charming mix of Labrador and Pittie, a medium-to-large girl with a heart as big as her frame. She's already mastered "sit" and "down" and is highly motivated by cheese, making training a delight. She also enjoys car rides and travels beautifully.
Ideal Home
Paloma would be happiest in a home with a yard where she can practice her happy jumps and a quieter environment where she can truly be herself. She's not suited for apartment living. She would love a plush couch and a human who doesn't mind a loving shadow following them around.
Ongoing Health
Paloma is a healthy girl and her adoption fee includes all vetting, spay/neuter, microchip, and a health certificate deeming her healthy for travel.
Training & Support
Paloma is a smart cookie who already knows "sit" and "down." While she can be shy with new faces, she takes her time making friends. She prefers calm and respectful canine companions and would do best as an only pet or with a mellow male dog. She's making great progress in socialization playgroups. We also believe she has the potential to be a cat's best friend, but a kitty sleepover is recommended to be sure.

Transporation
Paloma is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably. Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
