Cleo is a beautiful husky mix with a confident presence that makes you feel like she knows a secret – and she probably does! With her poised demeanor and quietly curious eyes, Cleo has an air of mystery. She's a dog who is comfortable being independent, preferring to "hang nearby" rather than being constantly glued to your side, and we admire that about her.

She's currently enjoying life in a foster home with a yard, where she's perfecting her house manners and eagerly awaiting her adoption day! Cleo is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs a petite 52 lbs. While we can't guarantee age or breed for rescues, her foster has found her walks on a harness to be enjoyable, with occasional leash walks to keep her versatile. She's also proudly house-trained and hasn't had any accidents in her foster home – a definite plus! Huskies are known for being vocal, and Cleo is no exception. Because of this, apartment living isn't ideal, but a home with a yard, a cozy crate, and a human who appreciates her independent spirit would be her dream come true.

When it comes to other dogs, Cleo is cool and collected. She's not seeking a constant playmate or a dog to follow her around. If there's another dog in the home, a laid-back, low-energy male who minds his own business would be perfectly fine. However, Cleo is perfectly content being a "single lady" and doesn't require canine company to be happy. She's also done well with cats, including an indoor/outdoor cat in her foster home, showing she knows when to be chill. Dog-savvy cats are welcome to join her!

If you're dreaming of a quiet, independent companion who will check in with you but not shadow your every move, Cleo is the one. She's calm, self-assured, and refreshingly low-maintenance, as long as you appreciate a little husky sass!

Transportation:

Madame Cleo is currently located in Texas. Our rescue facilitates adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. There will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport.
