Patty

Hi there! I'm Patty, and I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic pup who's ready for adventure and snuggles. I might be a little shy when we first meet, but I warm up super quickly and once I do, I'm all yours! My foster mom loves my unique heart-shaped nose and my adorable little tail. Even though part of my tail is missing, my personality is definitely not! I came all the way from Texas and I'm still getting used to the cold, so I love to burrow under blankets and snuggle up with my favorite people. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and I'm doing a great job with potty training with frequent breaks. I'm eager to learn how to be a polite pup and master this whole leash-walking thing. Treats are a great motivator, and I really want to do the right thing, so if you can teach me, I'm all ears! As a puppy, I love to play with toys, especially chew toys and bones. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I prefer to make her fetch them! I'm still learning that jumping up to say hello isn't always the politest way to greet people, but I get so excited to meet everyone, even the little humans! I've also met a cat who seems to like me, and I think we'll be great friends. I've met some bigger dogs and I'm learning a lot from them. I know when they're done playing and I'll go find a toy instead. I enjoy running and playing in the yard with them, and they seem to enjoy my company too!

Ideal Home

A home that can see past my initial shyness and recognize what an amazing pup I am. Someone who will continue to teach me manners, take me on walks, and give me plenty of cuddles.

Training & Support

I'm working on potty training and leash walking. I can be a bit jumpy when excited, but I'm learning to control it with gentle guidance. I love treats and want to please, so positive reinforcement will go a long way!
