Trout

Trout is an incredibly adorable 10-week-old Australian Shepherd/Basset Hound mix! With his tiny stubby legs and chunky, fluffy body, he's even cuter in person. Trout is a total sweetie pie who wants to be with you all the time. He's confident and adventurous, and will follow you anywhere – he definitely has that 'shadow dog' personality. He is great with other dogs, cats, and kids.

Ongoing Health

This pet will come to you spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations (for age), and up to date on preventatives. Additionally, you will receive a FREE GPS Tracker from Fi + a 6-month subscription to their service. All pets receive an additional exam and health certificate issued by a state licensed veterinarian prior to travel. All pets will be bathed prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Trout is great with other dogs, cats, and kids, and has a confident and adventurous personality.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• A $450 adoption fee applies to cover vetting.
• If choosing our semi-private transport, the transport fee is an additional $185 in addition to their adoption fee. Additional information regarding transport will be provided at the time of adoption.

Transportation

Trout is currently located in Lucedale, MS at our shelter. He is available for transport to your desired pickup location, arriving 1-2 days after the July 31st transport. Transports generally run every 2 weeks. All pets are welcome to be picked up in person at our shelter at no cost to their adopter.
