Meet Dahlia!

This sweet, 44lb Black Lab Mix with an estimated birthday of 5/5/2023 is a bundle of joy and puppy energy! Dahlia is a fun-loving girl who's always up for an adventure, a good cuddle, or making a new friend. She's eager to learn and loves being around people. Her story is inspiring; she was found protecting her young puppies under a house, and after a close call, a foster stepped in to change her life. Now, this happy pup is ready for the forever home she deserves, thriving with companionship and ready to learn and grow.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would do best in a home where she can have companionship and ideally other animals to play with and learn from. She's curious and still learning about the world, so a family excited to continue her training and help her grow would be perfect.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dahlia is already using a doggy door to go potty like a pro and is currently learning leash training. Like many young dogs, she's still working through some puppy habits, including crate training. Providing her with plenty of toys for enrichment and her success is very helpful.

Transporation

Dahlia is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and is available to your state or a neighboring state. Ground transports operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. You will be able to track your dog's transport via the Life360 app or Facebook chats.
