About Dahlia Daisy Flower the MINI Lab

Fostered in Marysville, WA is Dahlia Daisy Flower, an 11-month-old, 35-pound "itty bitty labbie pittie" who is as delicate and beautiful as her namesake. She's a sweet and energetic pup who loves her morning zoomies and brisk walks, with near-perfect leash skills (unless a squirrel is spotted!). Dahlia enjoys hitting the trails and parks, making friends with everyone she meets, both human and canine. While initially shy with new people, she warms up quickly. She's a natural in the water and would be an amazing camping companion for those PNW summers!

Dahlia is happy to snooze by your side during the workday and enjoys playtime with the four other dogs in her foster home. She lives with two small female dogs, one medium-sized male dog, and one large female dog, and gets along wonderfully with all of them. She does well with small dogs who can assert their boundaries. Her favorite pastimes include playing with pine cones and carrying around big sticks.

Ideal Home

Dahlia would thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, ideally with another playful dog. She could also do well in a dog-friendly apartment or condo, provided she gets enough outdoor activity. While she hasn't been tested with cats or children, we believe she would do well with respectful children aged 8 and up. We can arrange an overnight cat test if needed.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia is up-to-date on all her vetting and is in good health.

Training & Support

Dahlia is crate and house trained. She may cry in her crate when initially left alone but eventually settles. This should be a consideration for homes with shared walls. Re-establishing her crate routine in her new home will be necessary, though she would eventually love to share the bed with her humans.
