About Ember

Ember is a sweet girl who came to us as an owner surrender when her family could no longer afford vet care. She was suffering from mange and skin infections and was severely emaciated, clearly indicating a lack of care. Despite her past, Ember holds no grudges and has a heart full of love for everyone she meets, including children and other dogs. She was previously house and crate trained, and is a medium-energy companion who enjoys relaxing at home with the occasional walk, though a marathon is not her idea of fun. Ember is looking for a second chance to show how wonderful she can be!

Ideal Home

Ember would thrive in a home that can offer her love and a gentle routine.

Ongoing Health

Ember is recovering well and has no continuing health issues. She could still benefit from gaining a few more pounds. All dogs adopted through Wags are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and heartworm negative (age appropriate). They also receive monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative (age appropriate) and are regularly dewormed. All dogs are microchipped.

Training & Support

Ember is already house and crate trained, a testament to her adaptability and eagerness to please.
