Hi there! I'm Gus, a 2-year-old pittie with a big personality and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. I can be a little shy and nervous when I first meet new people, but with a little patience and kindness, I warm up quickly and turn into a total cuddlebug! I love to lean in for pets and will be your loyal shadow, soaking up all the affection you have to give. I'm currently working on building my confidence through programs like LIFT University and have already learned some basic commands. I'm a smart boy who enjoys puzzle toys and enrichment games, and I especially love learning new things when tasty rewards are involved! When I'm comfortable, my silly and goofy side really shines through, and I'm sure to make you laugh with my antics.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for an active adopter who can keep up with my energy! I'd do best in a house rather than an apartment, as I can get a little nervous around new people and like to use my voice. I need to be the only pet in the home, as I prefer to have all your attention to myself. I also need a home with children 6 years old and older. If you have children between 6 and 9 years old, I will need to meet them before coming home, as I can be nervous around new people and loud noises. For my safety, I must go home with a martingale anti-slip collar.

Training & Support
