Mater

Mater is a handsome 3-4 year old German Shepherd mix with a tan and black coat. He is a highly motivated boy who is eager to please and loves to play fetch! Seeing balls and toys brings him so much joy. While Mater has enjoyed playing with small, selected doggy playgroups, he's also a big fan of being a couch potato with his favorite people. He is a smart cookie and is already skilled in "touch," "sit," "down," "leave it," and "take it" (perfect for toy play!). He's also crate trained and would love to continue that routine in his new home.

Ideal Home

We recommend a family with experience handling German Shepherds or a family who is dedicated to continuing his training. He would do best in an adult-only household.

Ongoing Health

Mater is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Mater is working on his walking manners and the "drop it" command. He's also learning to politely ask for human-dog play with toys. Consistent positive reinforcement will help him continue to blossom!
