Oso is a 5-year-old German Shepherd/Hound mix with soulful eyes and a heart of gold. He's a gentle and loving boy who deeply bonds with his chosen people. Oso is low-energy and low-maintenance, content with comfy naps, leisurely walks, and car rides. He's lived peacefully with other dogs and has shown a calm, respectful demeanor around cats. Oso is an excellent car passenger and enjoys accompanying his humans on adventures. While he can be shy with new people and situations, patience and kindness will help his sweet personality bloom. Once he trusts you, he offers deep affection, loyalty, and a special bond.

Ongoing Health

Oso is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has been heartworm tested and treated if needed.

Training & Support

Oso is described as having impeccable manners. His foster home has provided him with a foundation in crate training, potty training, and leash walking.

Transportation

Oso is located in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide through a USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
