Dixie

Meet Dixie, a sweet Shepherd/Terrier mix born in July 2022 who weighs 50 pounds of pure love. We rescued her from Guadalupe Animal Control on the very day she was scheduled to be euthanized, giving her a second chance at life—and now she’s ready to find her forever home. Dixie is incredibly affectionate and has been wonderful with every person she’s met at the shelter. She radiates warmth and seems to have a natural way of making everyone feel special. While we haven’t introduced her to other dogs at our shelter yet, videos from Guadalupe show her meeting several dogs, and she got along beautifully. Dixie is the kind of dog who will bring joy, loyalty, and endless cuddles to the lucky family that opens their hearts to her.
