About Duke of Delight

Duke is a handsome 38-pound fella with a heart of pure gold! We think he might be a Pointer mix with a dash of Border Collie, making him the perfect medium size – sturdy enough for adventures but compact enough to be your snuggle buddy. Duke is incredibly sweet and looks at his people like they're the most important thing in the universe, with a side of silliness. He's the ultimate companion, happy to keep you company while you work or just nap at your feet.

Ideal Home

Duke would love a home with a fenced-in yard where he can zoom around and enjoy the sunshine. He's not a fan of busy apartment living and would thrive in a quiet neighborhood where he can leisurely explore his surroundings.

Ongoing Health

Duke is a healthy boy who has been neutered, microchipped, and is up-to-date on all vaccinations, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies. He's also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments and is on monthly flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Duke is a smart cookie who is already crate-trained and a star at potty training – no accidents to report! He has experience with children as young as six months old and has shown himself to be gentle and patient. Duke also gets along wonderfully with other dogs of all sizes and would love a canine sibling to play with. We haven't had a chance to assess his compatibility with cats yet, but we're happy to arrange a meet-and-greet to see how he does!

Duke is currently in Texas. We offer nationwide transport via our USDA-certified transport system, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey for your new companion. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You'll be able to track your pet's journey in real-time. A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
