Gloria

Gloria is a 70-pound girl with an enormous heart! She's sweet, affectionate, playful, and loves being involved in everything her humans are doing. Gloria makes friends easily, checks in with her people frequently, and adores belly rubs, back scratches, butt scratches, and brushing. After some fun and attention, she's happy to nap indoors. She's been gentle and affectionate with the children she's met.

Gloria thrived in her foster home after being spayed and retiring from motherhood. She settled in quickly, observing routines and meeting the resident pets before making herself at home. She quickly became friends with the resident dogs and is a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Gloria would love a home with a securely fenced yard where she can run and play. She prefers cooler weather and would likely thrive in a more temperate or northern climate where she can comfortably enjoy outdoor adventures year-round.

Ongoing Health

Gloria is fully vetted, microchipped, and received a 12-month Pro-Heart shot for heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Gloria is crate trained, potty trained, nondestructive, and sleeps through the night. She is responsive to verbal guidance and has excellent house manners. She does best with cats that are comfortable around dogs and won't be intimidated by her size or curiosity. Slow introductions and proper management will help ensure a smooth transition into a home with cats.

Transporation

Gloria is currently located in Texas. For out-of-state adopters, Gloria can travel safely with one of our trusted transport partners, Freedom Run Express or Tigger's Texas Transport. We adopt to multiple states to help each dog find their perfect forever home.
