About Willow
Hi there, friend! My name is Willow, and I'm a very sweet, nine-year-old brindle girl who's a PhD in relaxation. I weigh a healthy 40 pounds and have made an incredible comeback from being rescued at just 13 pounds! I'm the perfect-sized couch companion with beautiful brindle fur and soulful eyes that can convince almost anyone to share a snack. I'm compact, cuddly, and built for snuggling. I eat prescription kibble and take my meal schedule very seriously – breakfast and dinner are the highlights of my day!
I'm the easiest dog you will ever meet. I'm perfectly content napping most of the day, enjoying a short stroll around the neighborhood, and soaking up affection from my humans. I'm low-maintenance, mellow, and incredibly grateful for the simple things in life. As long as my food bowl gets filled twice a day, we're going to get along just fine. My perfect day involves breakfast, gentle pets while you drink your coffee, naps, a leisurely walk, another nap, promptly served dinner, and lounging beside you on the couch in the evening. I don't really play with toys often, preferring to perfect my napping technique. If being the best dog ever is a trick, I'm an expert! I don't really care for feet; if they get too close, I'll simply move somewhere else. I've been around older children and prefer calm and gentle older kids over lots of running, noise, and chaos. I was rescued alongside a cat, so I have some experience sharing my space with feline friends. I can be a little selective about my dog friends; I prefer a peaceful coexistence over a wrestling partner. If I could be anywhere, it would be curled up on a comfy couch, taking a nap somewhere within petting distance of a human. I live with two adults and a canine foster sister, and I love both the humans equally, though whoever is preparing my dinner is usually my favorite person in that moment. When I'm home alone, I relax in my crate, my cozy little retreat. I sleep on a nice fluffy bed next to my humans' bed in a little fenced area. I walk beautifully on a leash. Honestly, I don't have many bad habits; I don't bark much, I don't dig, and I'm generally a very easy roommate. My biggest flaw might be convincing people that I deserve extra treats. I am completely house-trained and firmly believe water belongs in a bowl for drinking, though I tolerate baths. My foster family provides delicious food, comfy places to nap, and endless love, and in exchange, I generously allow them to share my couch. I'm so grateful to the amazing people at NorCal Bully Breed Rescue who refused to give up on me, but I am now ready to find a family of my very own.
Ideal Home
I prefer calm and gentle older children over lots of running, noise, and chaos.
Ongoing Health
I still take a few prescriptions and eat a special diet, but I'm feeling great and enjoying life.
Training & Support
I'm completely house-trained and a very easy roommate. I don't bark much and don't dig.
