Diva

Diva is a 1-year-old, spayed Lab mix weighing about 35 pounds. She's a playful, affectionate, and outgoing girl with a tail that's always wagging! Diva adores running, playing, and chasing with other dogs, especially those who can match her energetic spirit. She's just as happy exploring on her own as she is romping with a canine buddy. Diva greets strangers with friendly enthusiasm and loves toys, cuddles, and meeting new people. When corrected, she has a charming, vocal quirk of howling as if she's arguing her case, making her seem like she's holding a conversation!

Ideal Home

Diva would thrive in a home with another playful dog who shares her zest for playtime. She would do best with someone who is home most of the time to provide structure, love, and activity. She would also appreciate regular walks, plenty of playtime, and the chance to sleep close to her people. While Diva hasn't lived with children, her foster believes she would do well with kids, especially those old enough to manage her enthusiasm.

Training & Support

Diva is crate trained and does well for short periods. She is very food-motivated and eager to learn, but should be fed separately to prevent her from trying to sneak extra treats from other dogs. She shares toys well. Diva is still building comfort with car rides, so longer adventures will be something she needs to work up to with time and patience.
