Josie

Josie is a sweet and loving 3-year-old German Shepherd who weighs about 85 pounds. She adores cuddling with her people and is always eager to greet you with joyful exuberance. Josie had to have her left eye surgically removed about a year ago due to trauma she experienced before coming to her current owner. She is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines.

Ideal Home

Josie would thrive in a home with an able-bodied person who has experience with dog training. She needs an owner who can provide consistent, positive reinforcement-based training and understands the exercise needs of a large, active breed.

Josie's left eye was surgically removed approximately a year ago due to past trauma.

Training & Support

Josie can be unpredictable around other dogs, sometimes engaging in rough play that can escalate. She also pulls and lunges significantly on leash, to the point of pulling her owner down. Josie would benefit greatly from a skilled trainer or an owner dedicated to positive, consistent training methods to help her learn expected behaviors.
