Phoebe is a sweet and energetic 2.5-year-old Pitbull Terrier mix who weighs around 60 lbs. She's a girl with plenty of puppy enthusiasm, but she also knows how to relax and cuddle up on a warm lap or cozy blanket. Phoebe loves to play tug-of-war, bask in the sun, and go for long runs. She's a disciplined and athletic companion who excels at various activities. Phoebe has received extensive physical training, including running an hour a day, and she's a pro at obeying commands. She's also house-trained and sleeps through the night. If you're an active person who enjoys sports, Phoebe would be the perfect partner to motivate you and make your training sessions fun and rewarding. She's even trained to run alongside bikes or skates, and she's a pro at following directional commands without getting distracted. Phoebe can also comfortably ride in a pet backpack, carrying her own and your water supply.
Ideal Home
Phoebe would thrive in a home with experienced owners who have a taste for exercise and enjoy challenges. She needs an active family that enjoys outdoor activities and daily exercise. A fenced backyard is a must, and ideally, you should be homeowners. Phoebe requires a home without children or other dogs, especially territorial ones. She also does best with families who have an open conscience about the needs of rescued animals and possess experience in dog behavior and training. High tolerance and patience are essential for adopting a rescued puppy.
Ongoing Health
Phoebe has undergone a comprehensive health protocol, including being spayed, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and tested negative for heartworm. She is also on monthly preventive protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworms.
Training & Support
Phoebe is kennel and house-trained and follows commands well. She has received training from Gray Wolf Canine Rehabilitation in Houston, TX, and ongoing support and advice from her trainer will be available to her adopter.

Phoebe is currently being fostered in Leominster, Massachusetts, and is ready to travel to other cities. Transport is available.
