Brownie

Brownie is an approximately 2-year-old, 35-pound Border Collie mix who was found abandoned at a farmers market. Despite his rough start, Brownie is a loving and people-oriented dog who gets along well with other dogs and children. He is crate trained, house trained, and eager to learn, making him an excellent candidate for continued training. Brownie is smart and attentive, typical of his breed, and is looking for a stable and loving forever home.

Ongoing Health

Brownie is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms using the slow-kill method. He has completed his doxycycline course and received his ProHeart 12 injection. He will need to continue on Advantage Multi or NexGard PLUS, and his rescue will provide the first six months of prevention.

Training & Support

Brownie is learning basic commands and is eager to please. Continued training and positive reinforcement will help him continue to thrive.
