Sebastian, a 9-week-old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, is a tiny bundle of love looking for his forever home! Weighing around 3 pounds, Sebastian is the epitome of a snuggle bug. He was found abandoned with eight other puppies in Houston and has since blossomed in his foster home in Austin, Texas. This little guy prefers quiet cuddles over roughhousing and is happiest when curled up in your arms, ready to offer a lifetime of affection.
Ideal Home
Sebastian is looking for a family prepared to help him grow into a confident, well-mannered adult. He has the potential to do well with children, cats, and other dogs, provided introductions are gentle and supervised. Given his very small size, it's important that any resident pets are experienced and gentle with tiny dogs. Because he is so young, Sebastian cannot be left alone for long periods. His ideal home will have someone present more often than not to help with his socialization, training, and care. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, your application will only be considered if another adult in the household is available to care for him during the day.
Ongoing Health
Sebastian is a healthy puppy and has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
As a young puppy, Sebastian is still learning potty and crate training. His new family should be prepared to continue consistent training with positive reinforcement and plenty of patience. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision, and Sebastian will do best with these in place.
