Addie

MEET ADDIE! This sweet girl is about 3 to 5 years old and weighs a petite 10 pounds. While her exact breed mix is a mystery, she has the charming looks of a Jack Russell Terrier and Dachshund! Addie has a wonderfully gentle and social personality. She gets along famously with every human and dog she meets. She's already a pro at being house-trained and crate-trained, and she absolutely adores treats, belly rubs, and cozy snuggles.

Addie's journey to find her forever home is quite remarkable. She was sadly facing euthanasia at another shelter due to difficulties walking and dragging her back legs. Thankfully, she was rescued and received immediate veterinary care. X-rays revealed no broken bones, but rather nerve damage from a past trauma. Through dedicated physical and water therapy, Addie has made a full recovery and you'd never guess she once had such struggles!

Ideal Home

Addie would thrive in a home that can continue to offer her love and attention. She's good with older children, but we don't have information on her compatibility with cats.

Ongoing Health

Addie has fully recovered from nerve damage thanks to extensive therapy. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Addie is house-trained and crate-trained. She loves treats and positive reinforcement, which will surely help her continue to learn and grow in her new home.
