Meet Benson, a sweet and quiet gentleman with a gentle soul. Benson's journey began when he was found wandering in Texas after being hit by a car. He bravely underwent a leg amputation and has since discovered the joys of kind humans, tasty treats, and the comfort of air conditioning.
Benson gets along wonderfully with other dogs and shows a complete indifference to cats. He's a well-behaved companion who is already potty trained, rides like a dream in the car, and has been a perfect patient during all vet visits and handling.
This thoughtful pup is not the type to be constantly underfoot. True to his Great Pyrenees heritage, Benson is more of an observer, content to share your space and enjoy your company without demanding incessant attention. He thrives in a calm environment and would be happiest simply being in the same room, keeping a watchful eye on things.
Ideal Home
Benson would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home. He would do best with children over the age of 12 who understand and respect a dog's boundaries. Loud, boisterous children would likely be overwhelming for him.
Ongoing Health
Benson is a tripod due to a past injury and leg amputation. To ensure his long-term comfort, a home with minimal stairs is preferred. While he navigates his world with ease, a less strenuous environment will be beneficial.

Benson is a well-behaved boy who is potty trained and a great car rider. His gentle nature means he's looking for a peaceful home, and he'll appreciate a family that understands his need for a quiet presence.
