Lucky and Piper

Meet Lucky and Piper, a bonded pair of canine gentlemen ready to share their quiet companionship with a loving family! Lucky, a 7-year-old, 55-pound American Pitbull Terrier mix, is a devoted shadow who thrives on human connection. He knows "sit," "come," "whistle recall," and "shake," and he excels with positive reinforcement and treats. Piper, a gentle 12-year-old, 68-pound Hound mix, is a calming presence who brings peace to any environment. These two have shared a lifetime of friendship and are looking for a home where they can continue to offer each other comfort and security.

Ideal Home

Lucky and Piper need a home with a securely fenced yard. Lucky, due to his prey drive, needs a home without cats, birds, or small animals. They are seeking a patient and experienced guardian, ideally a woman or a female-led household, who understands Lucky's need to approach people on his own terms.

Ongoing Health

Lucky requires daily medication for anxiety during severe weather and fireworks. Both boys are microchipped, current on parasite prevention, and scheduled for routine veterinary care later this year.

Training & Support

Lucky thrives with positive reinforcement and treat-based learning. He needs ramp or step access for vehicles as he cannot be picked up. Both dogs need continued veterinary commitment.
