About Miles Lakers

Meet Miles!

If you've been looking for a puppy who believes life is better with friends, you've just found him. Miles is a 5-month-old Lab/Pit Bull mix with the softest velvety gray coat, the sweetest yellow-gray eyes you've ever seen, and a face that's impossible to forget. This handsome boy is one of those puppies people stop to admire, but it's his personality that truly steals the show.

Miles is, first and foremost, a dogs dog. His favorite thing in the entire world is making friends and joining in on the fun. Big dogs? Yes. Small dogs? Absolutely. Miles is happy as long as he has canine companions around, whether it's wrestling, zoomies, chase, tug-of-war, sharing toys, or simply flopping beside his buddies after playtime. He reads other dogs well, happily accepts corrections from them, and loves being part of the group. A confident dog sibling would be an amazing match and would help this sweet boy continue building confidence.

While Miles falls head over heels for dogs almost instantly, he's a little more thoughtful when meeting new people. He may take a minute to warm up, but once he does, you'll have the sweetest cuddle buddy around. He's incredibly gentle, never pushy with people, and at just five months old, his confidence is growing more every day. Watching him blossom is one of the most rewarding things about him.

For a puppy, Miles has an amazing off-switch. After a good play session, you'll often find him happily stretched out on the floor, completely content to relax. He's the perfect balance of playful and easygoing.

Miles already knows "sit," walks beautifully on leash, and is an excellent passenger in the car, making him the perfect adventure buddy for weekend hikes, coffee runs, or road trips. He'd enjoy having a backyard to romp around in, but he's also calm enough to thrive in an apartment as long as he gets his daily walks and playtime. He does amazing in his crate and is a true joy to have in any home.

He has done wonderfully with children and has no food aggression. Miles shares toys nicely and has been fantastic with every dog he's met, large and small. We haven't had the chance to cat test him yet, but we'd be happy to do so for an interested adopter. Miles is the kind of puppy who quietly sneaks into your heart. He's sweet, gentle, goofy with his dog friends, wonderfully well-rounded, and ready to find a family that will help him continue growing into the incredible dog he's already becoming.
