Bindi

Bindi is a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd/Beagle mix who weighs 50 lbs. She has a stunning brindle coat and a personality as bright as her smile! Bindi loves to play fetch with her favorite balls and hard chew toys, and she's always up for an adventure. Once she's comfortable, she's a total sweetheart who craves attention and cuddles. She's incredibly smart and eager to please, especially when training treats are involved! Bindi’s superpower is her zoomies, where she runs around the backyard at lightning speed. She is leash-trained, crate-trained, and house-trained, and is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, up-to-date on core vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives.

Ideal Home

Bindi would thrive in a home with an active family who can provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children. However, she does not get along with cats and will need a feline-free environment. While she can be nervous around people approaching her too quickly, she warms up with calm and gentle introductions.

Ongoing Health

Bindi is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on monthly preventatives.

Training & Support

Bindi has had some obedience training and responds well to positive reinforcement with treats. She is leash, crate, and house-trained. Continued training and socialization are encouraged for ongoing success.

• A vet reference check is part of our process (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on DHPP/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies).
• A virtual home visit call will be conducted to discuss the adoption process and see your home.

Bindi is currently being fostered in Richmond, VA. Transport may be available.
