Vickie

Meet Vickie! She's a delightful 18-month-old (as of June 2026) long-haired dog mix, weighing around 23 pounds. We suspect she has a blend of Shetland sheepdog, papillon, and shepherd in her lineage, but she's a unique blend of adorable! Vickie was found as a stray in Memphis with her brothers and initially found herself in a loud shelter environment. While her brothers were a bit shy, Vickie was the most outgoing and friendly of the bunch, never meeting a stranger and always eager for attention. She's described as one of the most affectionate and attentive companions you could wish for. Vickie is ready for her next adventure and would love to travel north to Pennsylvania to meet her forever family!

Ideal Home

Vickie would love a home where she can run and play freely, but a fenced yard isn't a strict requirement. She's house-trained to a doggie door and may need a little patience as she adjusts to a new routine in a new home.

Ongoing Health

Vickie has successfully completed her heartworm treatment and is ready to start her happy and healthy life with you! She is up-to-date on all her shots and is spayed.

Training & Support

Vickie is already house-trained to a doggie door, but she may need some time and understanding to adapt to a different house-training method. Her outgoing and affectionate nature suggests she'll be a quick learner and a loving companion.
