Hank Reed is a 5-month-old, approximately 17-pound bundle of joy. We suspect he's a Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix, but with rescue dogs, it's always a fun surprise! Hank is incredibly playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He enjoys roughhousing with his siblings, followed by plenty of nap time – the perfect puppy routine! We are committed to providing you with detailed personality and behavioral insights to help ensure Hank is the perfect fit for your family. You can even schedule a FaceTime call to meet him before finalizing any paperwork!

Ideal Home

Hank will thrive in a home that can commit to the dedication, training, and socialization that puppyhood requires. He's still discovering the world and shaping his personality, so a family that can provide routine, structure, and clear boundaries will be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Hank has received his DAPP vaccine with a booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine. He has also undergone multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments. He is up-to-date on flea prevention and will receive a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has been tested for heartworm.

Training & Support

Hank is still very young and will need a family committed to his training and socialization. We require an adoptive family to commit to crate training Hank immediately upon arrival to aid in potty training, energy management, and his overall development into a well-rounded adult dog.

Transporation

Hank is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport is available to various drop-off locations, including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up can be arranged in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real time. Please note, Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
