Sumner was rescued from under a bridge down in Tennessee and was the brave mama to a litter of puppies last year. She has been treated for heartworm and is eagerly awaiting her final tests before she can make her journey to Massachusetts!

Sumner is a happy-go-lucky, affectionate girl who loves to play with other dogs and enjoys spending time with her people. She has a medium energy level, so she's up for adventures but also enjoys just hanging out. If you have a dog-friendly pool, enjoy trips to the beach, or hitting the pond, Sumner will be thrilled to join you as she absolutely loves water! She's been approved for families and is dog-friendly, though her compatibility with cats is unknown. Sumner is sure to be a wonderful addition to any home.
