Brunson - The Big Hearted

Meet Brunson, a 2-year-old, 25-pound bundle of love! Brunson is proof that some dogs are born with hearts too big for the world they've been given. He was sadly abandoned behind a government building in Puerto Rico, where he spent over a month trying to survive on his own. Despite enduring attacks from other dogs, Brunson never stopped believing in kindness. When rescuers found him, he was still eager for affection and ready to trust.

Today, Brunson is thriving in foster care in Puerto Rico and has blossomed into the sweetest companion imaginable. He's incredibly affectionate and happiest when curled up next to his people. He's a laid-back, sleepy boy who prefers cuddling on the couch over mischief. Brunson loves everyone he meets and gets along beautifully with kids, cats, and other dogs. His foster describes him as a dog who simply wants to love and be loved.
