Linus and Lucy IX are a bonded pair of 7-year-old fawn Boxer littermates who came to us as owner surrenders. Their previous owner could no longer afford to care for them. They have never been apart and must be adopted together, which means double the Boxer love and fun for you! They are described as friendly, active, smart, noisy, playful, affectionate, and nervous. While they haven't had much exposure to other dogs, they live with a rescue pug and, after a few weeks of adjustment, have become very close. They will bark at stray cats they see from a distance but have no direct interaction. They have had limited exposure to children, but with time to calm down, they are great with their owner's niece, even cuddling up to watch movies. They are always happy to see new people and can be a little overexcited initially. Linus and Lucy IX are house-trained and sleep on furniture at night. They are content being left alone when their humans must be away. They are well-behaved outdoors and do not dig or attempt to jump fences. They are fearful of thunder and fireworks but love car rides, chew toys, tug-of-war, daily walks, snuggling, and receiving pets.

Training & Support
Linus and Lucy IX are house-trained but will need crate training if that is required in their new home. They will need a few minutes to calm down when meeting new people and animals.
