He mastered potty training by 3 months, learned to walk nicely on a leash, and was even off-leash trained by 5 months – pretty impressive for his age! Lucas absolutely adores his humans and has a great time making friends with other dogs; he’s a real pack dog at heart! While he loves his people most, he's also respectful of kitties and any other critters he meets. Though still a puppy, Lucas has already mastered basic training! He’s a total cuddlebug who loves to snuggle but is equally excited for playtime, goofing around, and embarking on new adventures with his favorite people and doggie buddies. With his observant and patient nature, Lucas is always eager to please, ready to learn, and have fun. Lucas is a kid of all ages friendly too. He has met and done great with dogs of all kinds, old and young, big and small, from 4 pounds to 160 pounds. He is respectful of cats, rabbits, turtles, bird flocks, and farm critters. Training is an ongoing journey that requires daily attention, and new challenges and opportunities for learning should always be embraced. Continued training is vital to setting Lucas up for lifelong success.

Transportation
Lucas is fostered in Huntington, IN. Traveling to adopters may be possible at the adopter's expense, with a minimum charge of $45 in addition to the adoption fee. We DO NOT ship our adoptable pets.
