Meet Lucy!
Lucy is a wonderfully devoted, medium-energy, two-year-old Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever/Shepherd mix who weighs around 65 pounds. She's a gentle burst of sunshine, mostly black with a loving heart, and finds joy in life's simple pleasures. Her favorite pastimes include lounging in a sunny spot, relaxing on a comfortable deck, and keeping close to her people. She's also a fan of walks and has plenty of space to stretch her legs in a spacious yard. Lucy is affectionate and enjoys car rides, making her a great companion for everyday adventures!
Ideal Home
Lucy is searching for a calm, quiet home where she can relax and is sensitive to high-energy environments. A rural setting with a large fenced yard would suit her beautifully. She would do best with adults or families with older children who can provide a more peaceful environment. Lucy is not suitable for a home with young children or cats.
Ongoing Health
Lucy is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and has no medical or dietary restrictions. She is healthy and ready for her next chapter.
Training & Support
Lucy has received formal obedience training and is mastering commands such as sit, place, down, stay, come, and heel. She walks nicely on a leash, comes when called, and settles comfortably into her daily routine. She can relax on her own for six to seven hours during the day and sleeps comfortably in her crate at night. Due to some emerging herding instincts, Lucy may growl and engage in 'ball-herding' behaviors in busy households when excitement levels rise. With structure, patience, and a calm routine, Lucy's sweet personality will shine!
