Burger is an approximately 8-month-old, 44 lb bundle of joy, possibly with some Malinois in his mix! He's a smart, speedy, and seriously lovable young dog who’s ready to find his forever family. Burger was found on the side of the road in rural Alabama after being hit by a car, but you'd never guess his rough beginning, except for a few tiny scars on his face that simply add to his charm and resilience. He is high energy and needs an active household where he can stretch his long legs and burn off his happy energy. His favorite activities include playing fetch in a fully fenced yard, proudly carrying around sticks, and engaging in playful wrestling matches. Burger is exceptionally smart and eager to learn, picking up tricks quickly, and would thrive with continued training. He is highly motivated by animal crackers!
Ideal Home
Burger needs an active household that enjoys mental and daily physical enrichment. He could join households with other high energy and playful dogs and/or dog-savvy older kids. He might be okay in a home with dog-savvy cats who would be willing to play with him. No apartments, please!
Ongoing Health
Burger has some tiny scars on his face from a past injury, but they simply add to his charm and resilience.
Training & Support
Burger is a smart boy and eager to learn, but he is still a young dog. He is highly motivated by animal crackers and would do well with continued training. He has an aversion to baths, so some boundaries are important!
