Kona

Kona is a 9-year-old pit bull type dog who is looking for her forever home or a foster-to-adopt situation. She was adopted from us years ago, but unfortunately, her family's situation changed, and she returned to us. Kona has been in boarding for about two years, which is not ideal for her energetic personality. She needs to get into a home quickly where she can thrive. Kona is a great dog who deserves a truly forever family.

Ideal Home

Kona would do best in a home as an only pet. She could live happily with respectful older children (teenagers). A fenced yard would be a bonus for her to run around in. She would love a family that is home part of the day, but she can also do well if you work regular hours. An active family who enjoys long walks and hikes would be perfect for Kona. Experience with bully breeds is preferred.

Kona is currently healthy.

Training & Support

Kona is an energetic dog and does not do well in a boarding environment. She would benefit from a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
