Tate

Tate is a spirited 3-year-old, male Terrier/Retriever mix with energy to spare! This enthusiastic guy is always on the go and needs an experienced handler who can provide him with structure, training, and plenty of exercise. It seems no one has ever taken the time to teach him proper manners, but he's eager to learn with the right guidance. Tate has recently spent some time in a foster home, and he was loving every second of it! He's completely housebroken, crate trained, and loves to snuggle up with you! He loves his toys too! Tate is always up for a walk, but not opposed to lounging on your couch either! Tate is super smart and thrives from direction!

Training & Support

Tate is housebroken and crate trained, but needs an experienced handler to teach him proper manners. He is eligible for up to three in-home training sessions after adoption! These sessions are led by someone familiar with Tate's training, personality, and needs, and are a great way to ease the transition, answer questions, and help everyone start off on the right paw.
