Ivy

Ivy is a beautiful 1-year-old Redbone Hound/Labrador Retriever mix who embodies everything you could want in a canine companion. Weighing around 50 pounds, this sweet girl is loving, intelligent, easygoing, and incredibly well-mannered. Ivy has a special talent for making friends; she greets everyone with a wagging tail and a signature paw shake, always ready to offer her paw for some affection. She's a joy to have around, adapting easily to new situations and taking life's changes in stride. Whether you're looking for a couch buddy for a quiet evening or a partner for an adventure, Ivy is happy to be by your side. She's also fantastic with other dogs, her gentle nature making her a pleasure to be around. Ivy's journey to finding her forever home began when she was found in a high-kill shelter, but her sweet temperament quickly caught the attention of staff, ultimately saving her life. Now, she's eagerly awaiting a loving family to shower her with the affection she so freely gives.

Ideal Home

Ivy would thrive in a home with an adequately and fully fenced yard. Electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is fully vetted, spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and is kept on heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Ivy walks beautifully on a leash and exhibits excellent manners both at home and in public. She is known to have a calming effect on other dogs.

• Ivy's adoption fee is $400, which includes all vetting, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a nylon Martingale collar, and a harness.
• Transport fees range from $200-$300 for the East Coast and $250-$350 for the West Coast.

Transporation

Ivy is currently fostered in Texas but can be transported anywhere in the United States and Canada to the right home. Transport can be arranged for approved adopters.
