Hello there! I’m Hazel, a beautiful American Bulldog mix with a charming white and tan coat and a smile that will melt your heart. I’m a playful and sweet girl who absolutely adores having fun and snuggling with my favorite humans. I’m already house and crate trained, so I’m a great companion for indoor living. Walks are my favorite, but I must admit, I can be a bit of a puller due to my strength. I’m looking for a loving owner who can help me refine my leash manners and continue my training journey.
Ideal Home
I thrive in a home where I can be close to my people, as I don't enjoy spending too much time outdoors. I'm a bit of a homebody and get anxious when I'm too far from my family. I get along well with other dogs, especially those with a calmer demeanor. If you have cats, we can certainly arrange a meet-and-greet to see how we get along! Because I'm a larger girl (around 77 pounds) and can be a bit clumsy, my new home should have older children, 10 years and up. I also appreciate having my own safe space, like a comfy crate, where I can relax.
Ongoing Health
I have some digestive sensitivities and require a special diet of lamb and rice to keep my tummy happy. To ensure my safety and prevent any chewing mishaps, I need to be crated when I'm not under direct supervision. I've been spayed, vaccinated, and am heartworm negative.
Training & Support
I'm already house and crate trained! However, I do tend to pull on the leash when we go for walks, so some additional training in that area would be beneficial. I can also be a chewer when left unsupervised, so my crate is my safe haven. With consistent guidance and love, I know I can become an even more wonderful companion.
