Smokey

Meet Smokey! This handsome 2-year-old Cane Corso and Weimaraner mix is a wonderful boy weighing in at 60 pounds. Smokey came to us as a stray but has quickly shown us what a sweet, kind-hearted, and affectionate companion he is. He's a smart learner who loves to snuggle on the couch, especially while watching his favorite shows. Smokey has a low to moderate energy level, enjoying playtime with other dogs but also cherishing quiet time and cuddles.

Ideal Home

Smokey would thrive in a home with a house, not an apartment, and ideally with someone who works from home or doesn't leave him alone for extended periods, as he experiences some separation anxiety. He would also love a canine companion to play with, as he's very dog-friendly and enjoys games of chase. Smokey would prefer a home without cats and would do best in a low-traffic environment due to his shyness with new people.

Ongoing Health

Smokey is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Smokey is fully potty trained. He walks well on a leash, though he may pull slightly and bark out of excitement when first starting out, but he settles quickly. While he's not a fan of being crated, he is happy to rest in it when not shut in. He does cry a bit when left alone but stops and doesn't cause any damage. Smokey is eager to please and a quick learner.
