George the Goodest Boy

Meet George, a one-year-old goofball with a heart full of love and a body that seems to be powered entirely by joy. George is the kind of pup who believes the world exists to be loved, kissed, and played with, preferably all at once. From the moment you meet him, he wiggles his whole squishy little body straight into your space, climbs right into your lap, and reminds you that no one is a stranger, just a friend he hasn't kissed yet. His sweet, goofy puppy smile and endlessly wagging, long tail make it impossible not to fall for him instantly. George absolutely adores people. He is affectionate, cuddly, and so eager to be part of whatever you're doing. He would be thrilled to be your shadow, your couch companion, your adventure buddy, and your reason to laugh every single day. Despite his busy puppy energy, he has a soft, loving side and is happiest when he's close to his humans, soaking up attention and giving out kisses like it's his full-time job. George is incredibly dog-friendly and greets every dog with enthusiasm. He is a confident, playful pup who thrives with dogs that enjoy a more boisterous play style. He loves running, chasing games, tug, sharing toys, and even lazy play sessions. George currently lives with multiple dogs and does great in a pack, and he would absolutely love having dog siblings in his future home. That said, he also loves his people just as much and could be happy as an only dog if his humans are ready to keep him engaged and active. George is still very much a puppy and comes with all that happy, bouncy energy. He walks beautifully on leash and checks in constantly, making him a wonderful companion for walks, outings, and adventures. He would be the perfect dog to take everywhere with you, always ready for the next experience as long as he's by your side. George loves kids and does well with them, but he is a growing boy with a lot of enthusiasm and can be a bit rough in his excitement. Older kids who can handle his bouncy play and occasional hops of love would be the best fit. He would be an amazing family dog; he's playful and cuddly, the perfect formula for a kiddo's best friend! George is, at his core, a silly, affectionate, playful little soul who wants nothing more than to love hard and live life to the fullest.

Ideal Home

George would thrive in a home that can match his playful energy. He would love dog siblings who enjoy rough-and-rowdy play. A home with older children who can handle his enthusiastic play style would be ideal. While he enjoys the company of cats, a cat-free home is preferred due to his overzealous play style. However, he could potentially live with cats if they have safe escape routes and he has a playful dog companion to redirect his energy. He could do well in an apartment with an active family or a home with a yard.

Training & Support

George is still very much a puppy and has a lot of happy, bouncy energy. Continued training will help him channel all that excitement. He walks beautifully on leash and checks in with his handler.

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Pick up is available in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
