Walker (D1351)

Walker is a sweet, 7-year-old, 74lb silly boy who has made a remarkable transformation! He came to us in May 2020, emaciated and heartworm positive, but after treatment and care, he's now negative for heartworm and ready for his forever home. He's good with kids and other dogs, though he hasn't been cat tested.

Ideal Home

Walker is a high-energy and very smart dog who needs an active family. He will require daily exercise, both physical and mental. A secure 6ft fence with plenty of space to run is a must for him to thrive.

Ongoing Health

Walker was successfully treated for heartworm and has since tested negative.

Training & Support

Given his intelligence and energy, continued training and socialization will be key to Walker's happiness and success in his new home. His new family needs to be committed to these ongoing efforts.
