Hello, my name is Condor! I'm a stunning redhead with a beautiful coat of white, blonde, and black fur that's just begging for pets. I love to play and I'm a master of the hand-stacking game – I always win! My story is one of survival and love. My mom was found pregnant in New Mexico, and thankfully, loving humans brought her to Save-a-Bull in Minnesota. I was born here and given a chance to thrive. My first foster mom took great care of me, even tube-feeding me when I had trouble eating, but don't worry, that's not an issue now! I've since moved to a foster home with two wonderful adults, two kids, two dogs, and even a gecko – I'm so lucky to be surrounded by so much love!
Ideal Home
I'm doing great with potty training, with accidents only happening when my humans are busy. I'm learning that my kennel can be a positive place with fun treats like peanut butter Kongs and my favorite chew bones. I sleep soundly in my kennel at night with a blanket and some calming music. I know how to "sit" and I'm working on "sit," "stay," and "free" before every meal. I also hear words like "off" and "down," and I try my best, especially when treats are involved! I haven't had the chance to attend training classes yet, but I'm eager to learn and would love them. I enjoy attention, people, dogs, and treats – what's not to love? I have two older human siblings, a 12-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, and I adore them just as much as they adore me! I've also met younger children and find them just as cool. I haven't met a cat yet. My dog siblings are Blanche, a sophisticated female Pitbull/Boxer mix (over 6 years old), and Stanley, a playful male Pitbull/Weimaraner mix (over 2 years old). I get along with both but definitely favor Stanley for our wrestling, running, and tumbling adventures in the snow. I tend to be a bit more submissive and will hide if play gets too rough.
My dream day involves lots of outdoor exploration, indoor play, naps, and endless cuddles with my forever family. I love squeaky toys, but I'm happy with any toy! While I have plenty of energy for play, I also lean towards enjoying more cuddles and snoozes. Seeing my humans in the morning or after a long day makes my whole body wiggle and my tail wag uncontrollably – I just get so excited to greet them! I'm not picky about my forever family; it can be one person or several, as long as there's love to share.
