Romy

Romy is a beautiful 2-year-old Anatolian Shepherd who weighs about 90 pounds. She was rescued from a hoarding situation and, while she's not one to cause a ruckus, she's a lovely companion to have around, especially if you enjoy spending time in the garden. Romy is a bit timid and would truly blossom in a calm and patient environment where she can feel secure. She bonds deeply with her people and is generally good with other dogs and cats, though she's not the most social butterfly with strangers. Romy's idea of heaven is a quiet, temperature-controlled space (around 72 degrees) with plenty of security.

Ideal Home

Romy needs a quiet home with a fenced yard where she can safely explore. She would also benefit from having a confident, resident dog friend to help her navigate her new surroundings and show her the ropes. She'd love a comfy dog bed to relax on while she observes the world.
