Rosie Reed is a playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly 4-month-old puppy weighing approximately 22 pounds. We suspect she might be a Labrador/Husky mix, but with rescue dogs, it's always a delightful surprise! Rosie is one of the most desperate puppies in the US, coming from an area with high euthanasia rates for puppies. By choosing Rosie, you're not only saving her life but also creating space for another animal in need. She loves playing with her siblings and enjoys plenty of naps, embracing the classic puppy life of eat, sleep, play, repeat! Rosie will thrive in a home that is prepared to commit to the training, socialization, and dedication that puppyhood requires. A family that understands that puppies are constantly learning and shaping their personalities will be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Rosie is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm and will receive treatment if needed.
Training & Support
Rosie is still very young and will need a family that can implement routine, structure, and set boundaries from the start. We require all adoptive families to commit to crate training Rosie immediately upon arrival to aid in potty training, energy management, and overall development.

Rosie is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. We have drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up locations in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track her journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
