Peggy is a petite girl weighing a whopping 25 lbs and is approximately 1.5 years old. This gentle soul absolutely loves other dogs, big and small. She was found in January of 2026 in a cemetery with about 12 other dogs, fending for herself. Peggy was the smallest of the bunch and likely faced more challenges. She is calmer than many of her peers at the sanctuary, enjoying both play and quiet observation. Peggy likes to run alongside other dogs and will sometimes join in their rough housing, even acting as a referee by barking at them. She loves playing in the water and lounging in a kiddie pool to cool off. If you're looking for a small dog to stay by your side, cuddle with, and enjoy nice days outdoors, Peggy is a wonderful choice.
Ideal Home
Peggy would be great for a calmer household where she can play in the backyard with another dog and her toys.
