Butters

Butters is a sweet 1-year-old, 10lb Maltipoo who melts right into your arms, hence his name! He was found abandoned, severely matted, and covered in debris. After a much-needed makeover, he's now blossoming in a loving foster home with other small dogs. Butters is eager to be someone's forever friend, a lap dog, and a snuggly cuddle buddy. He can be a little shy around new dogs, needing a few minutes to warm up. Once he feels safe, he's all smiles and ready to play!

Ideal Home

Butters would thrive in a home that understands the grooming needs of a Maltipoo, as regular grooming is essential to prevent painful matting and keep him feeling his best. He would also love a home where someone works from home, as he is still a bit nervous when left alone, though he is improving with trust and routine. A home with older children who understand how to respect dogs would be ideal, as Butters is still unsure and uncertain about his surroundings and is not suited for homes with small children.

Butters is up-to-date on vaccines and is neutered.

Butters is still working on building trust and routine, especially when left alone. Consistent positive reinforcement and a predictable schedule will help him continue to gain confidence.
