Dafne Doo

Meet Dafne Doo! This beautiful Siberian Husky, estimated to be born around December 15, 2023, and weighing in at 66 lbs, is ready for her second chance at a life full of love and joy. In true Husky fashion, Dafne expresses her affection through enthusiastic talking and the best hugs. She was rescued from a county shelter, where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, a fate she narrowly escaped despite being happy and healthy.

Ideal Home

Dafne would love a family who enjoys daily walks as much as she does, and who might even be up for occasional trips to the beach or mountains. Anywhere you go, she wants to be! She also has a particular passion for swimming and is an Olympic-level doggy paddler who deserves a gold medal. While Dafne gets along well with other dogs, especially puppies, and is patient and gentle with kids of all ages, she would truly thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention and shower you with all her love. If you're familiar with the Husky breed, you'll be impressed by her calm, gentle, and sweet nature. Her tri-coloring, with a subtle brown undercoat beneath the black, is gorgeous and even more stunning in person than in photos.

Dafne is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dafne is house-trained. We have a fantastic partnership with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training, offering our adopters 50% off training programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off for programs booked within 60-90 days. All our adopters are also invited to join our Alum Pupdates Facebook group to share their journey with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters.

• Our adoption fees are based on the vetting each dog receives. Puppies under 12 months have higher fees due to more extensive vetting.

Transporation

Dafne is located in Houston, TX. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for tracking information. If you choose to transport, you must be willing to use these services to follow your adopted dog.
