Meet Clyde, a sweet and gentle 3-year-old, 50-pound pittie mix with a heart of gold! Clyde was found as a stray and, even when struggling for food, he showed incredible selflessness, always letting other dogs eat before he would approach. Thankfully, a kind volunteer alerted us to his situation, and he's now safe in a loving foster home, eagerly awaiting his forever family. Clyde is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, ready to embark on his new life.
Ideal Home
Clyde is a friendly and adaptable boy who enjoys the company of other dogs and has shown to be cat-friendly. He's also been tested and is good with children, though he can be a bit shy when meeting new people. For this reason, a home with older children who can approach him gently would be ideal. He thrives with patient owners who understand his initial shyness and allow him to warm up at his own pace.
Ongoing Health
Clyde is in excellent health, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.
Training & Support
Clyde is a remarkably well-behaved boy! He is fully potty trained and will signal when he needs to go out. He is also crate trained and will happily settle into his crate when left alone. While he's comfortable being left free-roaming due to his calm demeanor, he does gain confidence on walks when he has a canine companion. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with patience and gentle introductions, he blossoms into the sweetheart we know him to be. He also enjoys car rides and does a cute "happy dance" for food and walks!
