Hi there, I'm Athena! I arrived at Mississauga Animal Services as a stray and was never claimed, but I'm ready to start my next chapter with a forever family who can keep up with me. I'm a 1-2 year old Rottweiler (possibly mixed). I've been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and fully vaccinated. I'm young, strong, and full of life and I'm looking for someone who's ready for an active companion. I've got energy to spare and I love to play. Toys are one of my favourite things, and I'm always ready for a game or an adventure. I also have a big voice and an even bigger personality, so I'm not exactly the quiet type – I like to make sure you know I'm around! I've met other dogs and do okay with them, but I can be a bit enthusiastic and sometimes rush in because I'm so excited to say hello. Because of that, I do best with slow introductions and dogs who match my energy. Right now, I'd likely do best as the only pet while I continue working on my manners and leash skills. I haven't been tested with kids or cats yet, so my ideal home would be one that can help me keep learning and growing into my best self.
